Our Friday Tastings usually consist of
a white and a red - typically whatever we have found new for the bins or
stacks. The wines we have in the bins and stacks are ones which we
believe represent good "bang for the buck" and range in price point from
$5.99 to $24.99. We find loads of interesting wines, reasonably priced
from all over the globe which we are happy to share with our customers! “Tastier Thursday”
By Thursday
night, you're almost through the week! So, we've got some wine
tasting fun to celebrate the end of the work week.
On the first
Thursday of each month, we have a "Tastier Thursday - Women and
Wine" tasting from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. The featured wines to try will
be either made or distributed by a woman showcasing the talents of
women in the wine business! Light fare will be served to accompany
the wines available to taste. No reservations are required. Cost
is $10 per person to cover food costs...the wine tasting is free!
On the third
Thursday of each month, we have a "Tastier Thursday - Virginia Wine"
tasting from 5:30p to 7:00pm. The featured wines to try will be
from one of the many great wineries in Virginia and with any luck,
we will have the winemaker here each time to talk about his/her
wines! Light fare will be served to accompany the wines available
to taste. No reservations are required. Cost is $10 per person to
cover food costs...the wine tasting is free!
Occasionally, on
other Thursdays when winery owners or winemakers are in town, we
will have special tastings featuring their wines. We'll announce
these tastings in our weekly winE-Letter and online on our website
and on our Facebook Fan Page!
